Join Tennessee Nonprofit Network on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, for a lively and informative presentation by Naomi Asher as she presents her research on the root causes of leader burnout in the nonprofit sector.

Explore executive burnout through research connecting job demands / resources to major burnout indicators. While burnout is often discussed in broad terms, this research focuses on three critical "needle-movers" that significantly shape the experience of burnout in leadership: competency, conflict, and values. Much of the time, burnout is positioned as personal and individual, while this research shows it's far more systemic. This practical and research-informed conversation bridges theory and lived experience, examining interpersonal and organizational conflict, gaps in competency, and organizational lived values. Leave with actionable insights to better recognize, interpret and respond to organizational burnout dynamics.

This is a free, virtual presentation for Tennessee Nonprofit Network members!
