The Nonprofit Tech Atlas: A Practical Playbook for Navigating Technology, AI, and Digital Risk
Technology now touches every part of nonprofit work, from websites and donor platforms to cloud tools and AI. But the day-to-day use of these tools introduces risks that are easy to miss and costly to fix (e.g., unlicensed fonts and images, vendor contracts that leave you without ownership of your own website, staff using AI tools with sensitive client data, and subscriptions no one is managing). The NEW Nonprofit Tech Atlas was developed to address these gaps.
Produced by CodeCrew and commissioned by The Assisi Foundation of Memphis, Inc., this 2026 resource was designed to complement the sector's best existing technology resources (i.e., NTEN, Tech Impact, the GCA Cybersecurity Toolkit, and others) by adding practical, operational guidance for the day-to-day decisions nonprofit staff and leaders encounter most. In this session, experts from CodeCrew will walk participants through key findings and help your organization know where to start.
